We worked closely with Nike Brand Design to renovate Traz Powell, the iconic Southern Florida football stadium, which was revealed at the 2020 Superbowl.

Called “Mecca” by locals, Traz Powell has been the nexus of Southern Florida football for the last 54 years.

The facilities were in dire need of an update after years of regular usage.

The final outcome, after working closely with the Dade County School District to make sure the needs of the football community were met, is a newly renovated Traz Powell that will continue on as Southern Florida's Mecca for years to come.

“Every single historic black high school has played here for generations honoring Nathaniel Traz Powell, a legendary winning coach and first African-American player in state of Florida to score a touchdown in the Orange Bowl. I’ve witnessed many games here on a Friday night and to have it re-branded to all of its glory, I’m just thrilled.”

The renovation was exhaustive, including brand new and sustainable Nike Grind Turf, scoreboard, track, an upgraded press box, upgraded locker rooms, and multiple murals honoring athletes who got their start playing at Traz.
