Vectiv is The North Face’s newest innovation for trail runners, featuring a full length carbon footplate insert, the technology enables more energy to return to the runner for longer more efficient runs.
Used on their .com Vectiv launch site, the animation was an on scroll trigger enabling consumers to scrub the assembly as they navigated the site.
In addition to the hero scrolling animation we created a hires exploded view for use at retail and digital content.
R&D
Using Houdini to to control our animation enabled us to highly tune the compression and movement in a non-destructive manner, while keeping our meshes clean.
